Which Turtlebox models is BoxDox designed to fit?
BoxDox fits Gen 2 and Gen 3 Turtlebox speakers.
Will it work with future Turtlebox models?
BoxDox is expected to work with future Turtlebox 6x9 models.
Can a customer own multiple mounts and move the same Turtlebox between them?
Yes. BoxDox is universal, allowing a single Turtlebox speaker to be moved between multiple BoxDox mounting locations.
Does the mount affect access to any buttons, ports, or handles?
No. BoxDox does not interfere with access to any buttons, ports, handles, or controls on the Turtlebox.

How long does installation typically take?
Approximately 20 seconds.
What tools are required for installation?
No tools are required.
Can BoxDox be installed by someone with no mechanical experience?
Yes. Installation is simple and designed for anyone to complete.
What mounting surfaces work best?
BoxDox works well on boats, golf carts, UTVs, docks, and many other mounting locations.
Are there any surfaces or situations where you would not recommend installing it?
We do not recommend mounting BoxDox on thin sections of fiberglass or plastic.

How secure is the locking mechanism?
When mounted to a stationary object and properly locked, BoxDox provides a highly secure mounting solution.
Can the Turtlebox be removed quickly when desired?
Yes. The Turtlebox can be removed from the docking port in just seconds.
How does BoxDox perform in rough water, off-road conditions, or vibration-heavy environments?
BoxDox is designed for outdoor environments but is not recommended for heavy off-road use or impact-prone applications.
Is the hardware corrosion resistant?
Yes. BoxDox components are corrosion resistant.
Is BoxDox designed for permanent outdoor exposure?
Yes. BoxDox is rated for outdoor exposure. However, prolonged exposure to freezing environments is not recommended.

Where do customers most commonly install BoxDox?
BoxDox can be installed almost anywhere, but outdoor recreational environments are the most common.
What is your favorite use case personally?
We love using BoxDox mounted on our bay boat.
Have customers come up with any unique or unexpected installation locations?
Nothing is really unexpected with BoxDox. If there is a place to mount it, that's exactly where we expect customers to use it.

Is installation hardware included?
Currently, BoxDox mounts into Attwood Biaxial Surface Mount and Flush Mount holders, which are sold separately.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. BoxDox includes a lifetime warranty.
What is your return policy?
30-day return policy with a 100% refund.
Do you offer replacement parts if something gets damaged?
Yes. Replacement parts will be shipped unless damage appears to have resulted from negligence.

Are additional mounting options or accessories planned?
Yes. BoxDox plans to support additional speaker models and multiple base-holder configurations in the near future.
Are there any features customers frequently request?
Customers often request a tether or small locking cable that would prevent a Turtlebox speaker from being removed unexpectedly.
